The Latham vinyl liner polymer system is comprised of four components:

  • The polymer walls and braces provide the shape and foundation for your pool.
  • The vinyl liner you select will determine the color of your pool. Each liner is custom-made using Ultra-Seam® liner technology.
  • Steps, available in molded fiberglass, thermoplastic, and vinyl over steps, can provide a stylish and safe entry, exit, or lounging area.
  • Mesh and solid safety covers, or Coverstar automatic safety covers, protect your family and your pool.

  • Why is Vinyl Liner Pools a good option for me?
    There are a few reasons a Vinyl Liner Pool is a good option for someone. Size - If you are wanting a larger pool over 16’ wide Vinyl liner is the way to go. Fiberglass only comes in a maximum of 16’ wide currently. So families wanting a larger pool Vinyl is a great option. Cost - A basic vinyl liner pool is less expensive up front than a fiberglass pool. So for families just wanting to get into a basic pool for their backyard and stay within budget vinyl liner is a good option. Customization – You are able to customize your pool to the shape and size you want exactly for your yard. We can make a pool smaller or larger, add curves or ledges. We can create exactly what you have been envisioning.
  • How often do you have to replace the liner?
    As long as chemicals are kept in check and the pool is properly maintained a vinyl liner should last around 8-10 years on average.
  • What does it cost to replace the vinyl liner?
    Currently the average cost to replace a vinyl liner pool is around $5,000-$6,000. Of course size/shape/ledges/steps etc will effect this cost one way or another. It is important to have a pool professional properly measure and quote a liner for your specific pool.
  • How long does it take to install a vinyl liner pool?
    As long as the weather cooperates on average it is 4-6 weeks from start to finish installing a vinyl liner pool.
